Imagine a future where every parish can invest even more fully in its own community.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

With the Endowing our Future Fund, that future is within reach.

Our goal is less fair share, more mission in your parish

In the Synod office we are as committed to mission and ministry as you are.  We also know that we are asking a lot of you by way of a parish fair share and we want to remove this burden from you.

By reducing your fair share, we want to give you the freedom to use more of your resources in your parish for mission and ministry.  This is a campaign of freedom.

This is about planting a seed for future growth; creating a strong root system to bear fruit for generations to come. This is an investment in the future, a chance to buy into the future to function from a place of prosperity, not scarcity.

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”  Matthew 17: 20.

Not knowing God’s plan is part of the mystery and blessings. He is capable of creating miracles beyond all logic. We have faith that we can move this mountain with His help.

How does it work?

Some of you recall the Living the Mission campaign which offered a temporary solution for building money for the future.  That money eventually ran out.  The Endowing Our Future fund is designed to be sustainable.  All donations will be invested in a fund. The interest on that investment will be used each year to reduce fair shares among all parishes.  This is our attempt to be more efficient and effective and better stewards of our resources.

The Endowing our Future Fund will lower Fair Share assessments, allowing parishes to keep more of their resources for their own mission and ministry. This reduces financial pressure and gives parishes greater freedom to support the work God is calling them to do.

Why should I donate?

Your parish is part of a diocesan family, consisting of 30+ congregations from Yorkton to Maple Creek and Rosetown to Estevan.

You are part of this diocesan family.  We are all in this together, worshipping, serving and loving each other as part of our identity as followers of Christ.  We rely on one another to be the church in the places we’ve been given.  You are among faithful people all over this diocese, worshiping in the Anglican tradition, reaching out to show the love of God to one another and to the surrounding community.

Your contribution to this fund allows everyone in this diocese to thrive in their worshiping communities.

Your contribution to this fund means you are supporting ministry across the diocese and supporting fellow believers and their parishes to seek the Lord.

Your contribution is part of God’s plans to prosper His church in this place.
